SP Declares Operative Supplemental Budgets of Aklan Towns

Kalibo, Aklan- During its 15th Regular Session last month, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aklan has declared operative the supplemental budgets of Banga, Libacao, Madalag and Malay on recommendation after review by the Provincial Local Finance Committee (PLFC).
Supplemental Budget No.1 for 2010 of the municipality of Banga carries a total outlay of P1, 749,260.50.
Banga, a 3rd class municipality has a total annual regular budget of P52,760,567.26.
Likewise, the SP has also approved Supplemental Budgets No.1 and No. 2 of Libacao carrying total appropriations of P3.2 Million and P1.25 Million respectively.
Libacao is a 4th class municipality with a total annual regular budget of P56,505,016.00.
This chamber has also declared operative Supplemental Budget No.1 of Madalag, a 4th class town with a total annual regular budget of P48,511,714.00 This Supplemental Budget carries total appropriations of P5 million.
Supplemental Budget No.1 of Malay which was likewise approved by the SP has a total outlay of P8.5 million. Malay, like Kalibo, is a first class town with a 2010 Annual Regular Budget of P119,395,319.99.
Sources of funds to finance the supplemental budget of these towns are the increases in their respective Internal Revenue Allotment share.
